Returns and Refunds Policy

1. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

In accordance with European Union consumer protection laws, you have the right to cancel your purchase and return your product within 14 days of receiving it, without providing any justification.

2. Conditions for Return

To be eligible for a full refund, the product must be returned in the same condition that you received it. Specifically:

• The device must be unused and uninstalled (no cut wires, no marks from hose clamps, and no signs of water exposure);
• It must be in its original, undamaged packaging;
• All included accessories, adapters, and manuals must be returned.

Note: If the product shows signs of use or has been modified (e.g., wires shortened or sensors mounted), we reserve the right to reduce the refund amount to reflect the diminished value of the goods.

3. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact us at geral@aquameter.pt with your order number. Once your request is processed, we will provide you with the return address and further instructions.

4. Return Shipping Costs

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning the item (unless the item arrived defective). Shipping costs are non-refundable. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed via the original method of payment within 14 days.

6. Defective Products and Warranty

If the product is faulty or does not work as described, you are covered by the legal guarantee applicable in the EEA (2 years in most EU countries, 3 years in Portugal/Spain). In such cases, we will provide a repair, replacement, or full refund including shipping costs. Please contact us immediately if you encounter any technical issues.
