AquaMeter wasn’t born in a corporate office—it was born on the open road. As long-time motorhome owners and outdoor enthusiasts, we live and breathe the off-grid lifestyle. We know the freedom of the journey, but we also know the constant anxiety of managing limited resources—especially water.
From Necessity to Engineering
For years, we searched for a reliable way to monitor our water tanks. All we found were inaccurate factory sensors that only showed vague levels like “1/4” or “1/2”, or overly complex systems that required internet connections and monthly subscriptions.
Frustrated by the lack of a real solution, we decided to take matters into our own hands. By combining our camping experience with our background in engineering, our team developed AquaMeter in Portugal. If the perfect solution didn’t exist, we had to build it ourselves.
