1. Installation and Watertightness
Installing the AquaMeter requires cutting into your water system’s tubing. It is the user’s sole responsibility to ensure that all cuts are precise and that the device is secured using appropriate adapters and clamps to ensure a watertight seal. The seller assumes no liability for property damage, flooding, or water leaks resulting from improper installation or failure to maintain connections.
2. Third-Party Adapters
While we provide adapters for the three most common hose sizes, users may choose to use their own connectors. In such cases, the responsibility for technical compatibility, fitment, and connection security rests entirely with the user.
3. Exclusive Use: Clean Water Only
This device is designed and tested strictly for monitoring clean water. Use with the following is neither confirmed nor authorized:
- Chemical fluids, fuels (gasoline/diesel), or toxic liquids;
- Waste water (grey or black water) which may contain debris, oils, or sediments.
Using the AquaMeter with any fluid other than clean water immediately voids the warranty and is done at the buyer’s own risk.
4. Electrical Requirements
Installation requires basic knowledge of 12V electrical systems. The user must ensure correct polarity and proper wire insulation. Damages caused by wiring errors, short circuits, or incorrect voltage are not covered under warranty.
5. Technical Assistance
If you are unsure of how to proceed, do not risk damaging your system. Before making any technical modifications, consult a qualified professional or contact our engineers directly at geral@aquameter.pt. We are here to help you avoid costly mistakes.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the seller shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, damage to vehicles, boats, or personal property) arising from the misuse of this hardware or faulty installation by the customer.
